Deposits
You can deposit any amount of cash at Gibraltar International Bank with no limit, and funds will be available immediately. Large deposits require proof of source of funds (e.g., payslips or bank statements from the last 3 months).
Withdrawals
You can withdraw any amount from your Gibraltar International Bank account with a valid ID (passport, driving licence, or Civilian Registration Card). For large withdrawals, we recommend bank transfers or online payments for safety, and we’ll ask questions to ensure clarity and provide alternative payment options.
Foreign Currency
For exchange rates on withdrawals or deposits in foreign currency, call +350 20013900 for current rates. For Euro ATM withdrawals, the rate is displayed on-screen before confirming the withdrawal transaction.
Notes Accepted
Gibraltar International Bank accepts only current UK Sterling £20 (purple) and £50 (red) notes, not old notes like those withdrawn in 2022. Exchange old notes at a Bank of England branch or via their postal service.
