Download and complete the business questionnaire so that we can review your business activity to determine how we will be able to support an application. The questionnaire is to be sent to gibraltar@gibintbank.gi.

We will review the business questionnaire and will confirm whether we require further information or are satisfied with the details provided.
Questionnaire accepted
Once your completed questionnaire has been reviewed, we will email you the application forms along with a detailed list of required documents to move forward with your application.

Once the application forms and all required certified documents have been submitted to our Business Team, they will be reviewed. If any additional information is needed, the team will reach out. If everything is in order, we will proceed with opening your account.

Subject to our Service Level Agreement (SLA), your business account at Gibraltar International Bank can be set up within 14 days, provided all forms are completed and the required supporting documentation is submitted.

To open a Business Account with Gibraltar International Bank, you’ll need the following documents based on your entity type:
For all Corporate Accounts:
- Certificate of Incorporation.
- Company profile from Companies House.
- Company Tax Identification Number (TIN).
- Certificate of Good Standing (if incorporated for over 12 months).
- Counterparties Agreements/Contracts.
- Source of Funds (e.g., 6 months’ bank statements).
- Source of Wealth (e.g., a CV or career summary showing business revenue).
- Board Resolution authorising the account opening.
- Identification and proof of address for Directors, Shareholders, Company Secretary, Beneficial Owners (25%+ ownership), and Signatories (e.g., passport and utility bill dated within 3 months).
- Trade Licence (if applicable).
- UBO Register.
- W9 Form (if a US national is involved).
- W8 Form (if a US entity is involved).
For Complex Structures:
- Full KYC on the company, including Identification and Proof of Address for Beneficial Owners (25%+).
- Company Profiles for intermediary companies from Companies House, with directors and shareholding details.
- Organogram outlining the company structure.
For Intermediaries:
- All corporate account documents.
- An introductory letter.
- Proof of regulatory authorisation (if required).
For Trusts:
- Schedule Extract from the Trust Deed.
- Settlor’s Identification, Proof of Address, and Source of Wealth (e.g., CV).
- Protector’s Identification and Proof of Address (if applicable).
- Beneficiaries’ names, addresses, and dates of birth (Identification and Proof of Address if a distribution has been received).
- Trustee’s and Signatories’ Identification and Proof of Address.
- Source of Funds (e.g., bank statements).
For Charities, Clubs, and Associations:
- Registered Charity Certificate.
- Trustee’s, Signatories’, and Treasurer’s Identification and Proof of Address.

Documents for a Business Account application with Gibraltar International Bank must be certified by:
- A Bank Official.
- An official from a regulated entity with equivalent AML standards to GIB.
- A Consul or embassy official.
- A Government official.
- An Accountant.
- A Lawyer (member of a National Legal Association in an FATF country).
- A Notary Public in the UK, Europe, USA, or Canada.
For Client Identity:
The certification statement on the ID page must read, “I certify that this is a true copy of the original document and the photograph is a reasonable likeness,” signed with the certifier’s full name, title, and date.
For Proof of Address/Company Documents:
The certification must read, “True certified copy of the original document.”
