Gibraltar International Bank is seeking a First Line Senior Risk Manager to join the team. The role holder will be responsible for strengthening risk management and governance across the First Line, while acting as a key conduit between the First and Second Lines of Defence.
The role will establish and maintain robust governance frameworks and provide effective oversight across key risk areas, including AML and periodic reviews, customer onboarding, credit risk and reputational risk.
The successful candidate will ensure that front-line reviews and controls are completed accurately and on time, and that activities remain aligned with the Bank’s policies and risk appetite.
Working closely with business areas and Second Line functions, the First Line Senior Risk Manager will proactively identify, escalate and support the management of emerging risks, drive improvements in controls and governance, and help protect the Bank from financial, regulatory and reputational harm.
