Following the announcement on Saturday 2 January 2021 regarding additional restrictions to deal with COVID-19, we are making the following changes to ensure customers and colleagues remain safe through this period.


GIB will remain open with;

  • Ince’s House available to personal customers for self service only such as ATM cash withdrawals and cash & cheque deposits.
  • 198 Main Street will operate on an appointments basis for our business customers. Please contact us on to arrange an appointment.
  • Customer meetings will be held by telephone, e-mail and virtual rather than face to face at this time.
  • We encourage customers to use online banking for statement balances and payments, however, e-mail, Live Chat on our website or secure messaging from online banking all remain available. Our telephony team is likely to face high call volumes during this period and please consider e-mail, Live Chat and secure messaging to contact us at this time.


Many of our colleagues will be working from home during this period, however, we look forward to continuing to support your banking services and requirements during this period.
